Breakthrough Solar Cell Technology Boosts Solar Efficiency
Our particle accelerator, arriving this Spring, is a revolutionary technology that we are leveraging to produce breakthrough solar powered products that happen to be easy on the environment. With it, we will significantly boost solar cell efficiency and cost-effectiveness of today’s industry-standard solar cells, which are limited by silicon cost and waste. Silicon is the most expensive part of a solar panel and in order to make it, conventional solar cell manufacturers must saw off a thick piece of silicon, leaving behind waste in the form of silicon dust. This waste byproduct is an environmental and economic burden – driving up the cost of solar panels. Addressing this issue of waste caused by solar panel production is critical for the future of solar energy.
